The CRC was well represented this year at the 2022 All-In: Co-Creating Knowledge for Justice conference. Ana Antunes, Anahy Salcedo, Adrienne Cachelin, and Kimberly Yapias all headed out to Santa Cruz, CA, in October. The All-In conference is co-sponsored by the Institute for Social Transformation at UC Santa Cruz, and our parent organization, URBAN.
Anahy, Ana, and Kimberly presented Establishing Principles for Community-Based Research: Story & Power in the Community Research Collaborative, sharing what was learned from the nine-month process of developing our guidelines for community-based research.
Meanwhile, Anahy presented on her work with the grassroots leadership team at United Way of Salt Lake’s Promise Partnership, in her session, Understanding the Story Behind the Data.
And Adrienne, along with Leah Joyner from CSU Sacramento, shared their work with culturally sustaining urban agriculture partnerships through the SPARC Lab in their presentation, Growing Educational Pathways for Food Sovereignty.
Congratulations to all our presenters!
